First, please know that if are using a car seat in First, please know that if are using a car seat in a golf cart, I know you are doing so with the very best of intentions. I'm here to arm you with the facts so you can make informed decisions about your family’s safety.

Golf carts are for adults on the golf course! It is recommended that children under the age of 6 do not ride in them at all.
According to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), golf cart injuries are on the rise. Children are more likely to fall and those falls are associated with higher rates of head and neck injuries and hospitalizations.

Car seats were designed and crash tested to meet federal motor vehicle safety standards. Golf carts aren't held to those same standards so they also aren't equipped to meet those standards. A car seat may not perform as designed when put in a golf cart. In addition, many car seat manufacturers prohibit their use in a golf cart.

Now you know the facts, and the risks. You take it from here, friends.
Car seats that rotate allow caregivers to load and Car seats that rotate allow caregivers to load and unload their kids while facing them. Yes, these seats pass the same federal crash test standards as seats that don't rotate!

This ease of use feature might be of interest to you if:
▶️You or your child have physical limitations that make it difficult to get your child in and out of their car seat.
▶️You can't fully open the vehicle door making harnessing with a non-rotating seat cumbersome.
▶️You transport children who rear and forward face and would love one seat that can accommodate both directions without having to uninstall and reinstall.
▶️You like the novelty of a car seat that spins!

With any car seat, when assessing if it is right for you, it is important to consider:
✅ rear-facing goals/child fit (note the standing height, weight limit, and harness height--all three measurements in combination compared to your child's body tell you about the longevity of the seat-our Buying Kits can help!)
✅ vehicle seating position (these are easiest to use when on the driver/passenger side and may be less convenient when installed in the middle)
✅ car seat/vehicle compatibility (the load leg, belt path, and tethers on these particular seats is something to pay close attention to)
✅ lifestyle, family, and other passenger needs (determine if using this car seat impedes the use of any others)

These swivel seats are on the pricey side and while they fit in many cars, they can be a challenging installation in others. The best case is to try before you buy. If your local store isn't an option, reach out to your local mom group--see who has one and if you can come to test it out!

🌟Our Car Seat Buying Kits are your very best resource to choose the right car seat for you and include all the swivel seats we recommend. Link in bio. 🌟

Your child will likely be using a car seat safety Your child will likely be using a car seat safety device until they are between the ages of 10-12. Yes, you read that correctly. Let your kid know that now. Tell your partner. Alert your mother-in-law. And then own that SH$%. You are doing the absolute safest thing you can to protect your child from their greatest risk when you wait to move them to the next stage of car seat safety until they are ready.

When your child is itching to ditch their booster seat, they will surely be old enough to take themselves through the 5-step test. If they can say yes to ALL of the steps in the image above, then and only then, can they ditch the booster IN THAT CAR and IN THAT SEATING POSITION. You need to do this test in all the cars/seating positions they are in when first transitioning to this stage because every vehicle is different and while they may pass in one vehicle they may not in another.

Reminder, they don’t graduate to the front seat until they are 13 even if out of a booster!

If they failed, then let your child know that you will be happy to revisit this with them again in 6 months. You may need to say that to your significant other, or grandma, or your friend too. 😉
