Our recommendation: From 5 years until it's outgrown (average 10-11 years old)
A 2-in-1 booster that has a high back and a backless mode
From 5+, but the child must be mature enough to sit properly at all times
Stand Out Features of this Car Seat
It has lower anchors.
The Britax Skyline booster comes with lower anchors to hold it into the vehicle. They are optional, but using them keeps the booster in place when the child is buckling and it keeps it from becoming a projectile in a crash if the child is not riding in it. If you do not use the lower anchors, the child should buckle in the seat belt over the booster whenever they are being dropped off.

Seat is good for you if
You have a tall child.
This high back booster has 63″ limits, which is currently the maximum standing height limit available for boosters. It also has a very tall belt guide that can accommodate a child until their torso height is around 23″.
Use caution if
You have a vehicle with non-removable headrests.
If your vehicle has non-removable headrests, we do not recommend buying this seat. You can check this post for car seat options that do work with non-removable headrests.
You need to fit car seats 3 across in your vehicle.
This booster is not going to work in any 3 across situation due to the 23" width. Check out our blog post on fitting 3 across here to find some better options.

SITS Bottom Line
If you have a child who is tall or has a tall torso, this high back booster may be a great option for you to consider! It does have some drawbacks that should be noted, however. If you need to fit 3 kids in one row of your back seat, this is not the booster for you. Also, double-check that your vehicle headrests are removable before buying this seat to avoid any potential compatibility issues.
