SensorSafe
This version of this seat comes with the SensorSafe chest clip. This unique chest clip communicates with an app on the caregiver’s phone to provide four types of information: if the child is too hot or too cold; if the child has been buckled in for too long; if the chest clip is unbuckled, or if the child is still buckled in the car after the vehicle has been turned off. These alerts can bring major peace of mind!
Swivels
The Evenflo Revolve180 seats swivel as the name implies! When the seat is installed on the base, it can be swiveled to either side. This is a great option for caregivers who frequently babywear instead of taking the infant seat out every time. But is still allows the flexibility of taking the seat inside for short trips as needed.
Easy-to-tighten Harness
It's fairly common for no-rethread harnesses to be hard to tighten. But that's not the case with the Evenflo Revolve180 Litemax NXT. Getting the harness tight enough to pass the pinch test is a breeze!
Seat is good for you if
You want a car seat that is easy to install.
The Evenflo Revolve180 infant seats feature a LockStrong belt tensioner. The base has a panel that lifts up, which you route the seat belt under. You have to tighten the seat belt a little bit, and then you just close the panel and lock the seat belt. Check for 1" of movement and adjust as needed.
Use caution if
You have a small back seat.
The Evenflo Revolve 180 Litemax NXT is not the biggest infant seat for sure, but it's not the most compact either. All Evenflo infant seats require at least 1.5" between the infant seat and the seat in front of it, unless it is installed in the center seating position. We were able to fit it behind the driver in the Toyota Corolla we were using though.
Quirks to be aware of
The straps twist easily.
We found that the harness straps twisted so easily that we had to fix them almost every time we used the seat. However, it was very easy to fix as the buckle slots are wide.
Child Fit Information
Our model is 9 months old. She is 27" long and weighs 18 pounds. She fits well and still has room to grow.

Airplane Use
The Evenflo Revolve180 Litemax NXT is an aircraft-approved car seat. This is a good option for travel. If traveling internationally, you will need a locking clip. SITS Bottom Line
Overall, the Evenflo Revolve180 Litemax NXT has a lot going for it. The swivel is super handy, especially if you babywear a lot but still want the option to bring the seat inside for quick errands. The SensorSafe chest clip is always a nice bonus — those alerts can really give some peace of mind. The installation is pretty straightforward with the LockStrong belt tensioner, and we had no trouble fitting it behind an average height driver in a small car. The only downside we found was how easily the straps twist — it’s annoying, but at least they’re quick to fix. Overall, a solid choice if you’re looking for a swiveling infant seat with some great features!
